Ruskovilla’s women’s base layers are designed to bring warmth, breathability, and comfort all year round – without compromise. Merino wool and silk naturally regulate body temperature, breathe effectively, and feel wonderfully soft against the skin. Best of all, they’re easy to care for: they don’t absorb odours, air out fresh, and can be machine washed at 30°C using a gentle wool or silk cycle.
Our selection includes both unisex shirts and pants (suitable for both women and men) as well as styles tailored specifically for women. Tops and bottoms are sold separately, so you can choose the combination that fits you best – mix and match sizes, colours, or even materials as you like.
Women’s merino wool base layer – the perfect underwear set for cooler seasons
A merino wool base layer is an excellent choice for year-round use. The material is 100% certified organic and mulesing-free merino wool. The interlock knit is smooth on both sides, feeling soft on the skin. These garments are ideal for layering but can also be worn on their own – for instance, a polo neck or long-sleeved shirt pairs well with jeans or a skirt for a casual look. The black long-sleeved merino shirt and long johns are also available in longer version.

Women’s silk wool base layer – ideal for everyday wear and light daily activities
Silk wool combines the best qualities of both materials. This blend – also called wool silk – contains 30% silk and 70% organic merino wool. Lighter than 100% merino knit, it’s an excellent choice for cool-season base layers and for those who tend to feel cold year-round. It’s perfect for everyday wear or light daily activities, while pure merino wool is recommended for more active use. Soft silk wool is also well-suited for most people with allergies or sensitive skin.

Silk base layer – everyday luxury all year round
Made of 100% certified organic silk, this base layer is extremely smooth, feeling light and barely there on your skin. The silk set is ideal for sensitive skin and allergy-prone individuals, while protecting delicate skin from the roughness of outerwear.
