Perfect undershirt for year-round use

Sleeveless top is made of undyed, off-white silk wool and has a unisex fit suitable for men and women. The top has reinforced binding around round neckline and sleeve openings. 

Silk wool is a blend of 30% natural silk and 70% organic merino wool, which makes it a smooth and breathable material for underwear. Thinner than merino wool, it’s perfect as a baselayer in colder months, and great for year-round use if you tend to feel chilly. During spring and autumn, it adds comfortable warmth for trips to the cottage, camping, or boating. In winter, silk wool provides cosy insulation under everyday or outerwear. The lightweight, elastic and wonderfully soft silk wool outfits are perfect to wear for sleeping, too.

Silk wool combines the smoothness of silk and the warmth of wool. Silk wool absorbs moisture without feeling wet and freshens up with airing, so it doesn't require washing often.

Handmade in Artjärvi, Finland. No need to wash before use.

Women: due to the unisex sizing, we recommend to choose one size smaller than your normal size.

Size guide

Knitted fabrics made from natural fibres are flexible and due to the properties of the material, product sizes may vary slightly. For this reason, we do not provide measurements of finished products, but size selection is based on your own body measurements.

Dimensions in the table are given in centimetres (cm).

This is how you measure:

• Measure over bare skin or thin underwear.
• The easiest way to measure is with a tape measure. Make sure the tape measure is straight. It is easier to measure if you have another person with you or if you measure in front of a mirror.
• If your measurements fall between the two measurements on the measurement chart, we recommend taking a smaller size as the products are strethcy.
• Remember to check the measurements on the correct size chart, especially for unisex products.

Tips for choosing your size:

• The measurements on the size chart are body measurements, which you can compare to find the right size. 
• Our products are made to Finnish measurements, which means that they are generally a little looser than e.g. European sizes. If you are deciding between two sizes, a smaller size is probably sufficient if you prefer a more fitted look.
• For unisex products, we recommend that women choose one size smaller than their normal size. Also check the measurements on the size chart!
• Silk wool is more elastic than wool or silk, so keep this in mind, especially when selecting adult silk wool garments.

• The knit of our wool products will slightly shrink when first washed. This is taken into account in the sizing, which is slightly loose before the first wash.
