General information about online shopping
Products sold by Ruskovilla Oy, Finland. We sell products to individuals of legal age almost worldwide. For an up-to-date list of delivery countries, please see the delivery countries menu on the website. We reserve the right to change prices and shipping costs.
Ordering
Orders are placed at https://ruskovilla.fi
To place an order, you must provide an email address when placing the order. A confirmation email will be sent on a successful order, indicating the total amount of the order, the amount of the delivery charge and the products ordered. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please also check your spam folder and, if necessary, place the order again or contact our customer service by email ruskovilla@ruskovilla.fi.
The customer agrees to the current delivery terms and conditions for each delivery.
Product prices
Product prices include VAT when the online shop identifies the user as being from an EU country or Norway. Outside the EU and Norway, VAT is not charged and is not reflected in the prices of the products.
Availability
Products that can be added to your online shopping cart are also available immediately. Please note that our shopping cart is not reserving, i.e. products are only reserved for you once payment has been successfully made through our online checkout. Some products may be made to order, in which case you will see the estimated delivery time on the product page and in your shopping cart. If the product is not available, you can request an availability notification to be sent to your email address. We will inform you as soon as the product is available again.
Some products, such as blankets, mattress toppers and some pillows, are not available outside the EU due to their large size. These products will not appear in the online shop if your chosen delivery country is outside the delivery area.
Delivery methods, delivery time estimates and delivery charges
Delivery charges will be presented at checkout and paid at the time of ordering. If your order is significantly larger than standard postal parcels, additional delivery charges may apply, in which case we will always contact you before the order is dispatched.
Orders will be deliverd to the address you provide at checkout, so please fill in all details carefully. All products are dispatched from Ruskovilla's premises in Artjärvi, Finland. We aim to pack and dispatch the products either on the day of ordering or on the following working day. After that, the delivery time depends on the carrier. During peak periods there may be delays in dispatch and delivery.

Please note that Posti only keeps parcels in a parcel locker or Posti service point for 5 days. Make sure you can pick up your parcel in time.
Delivery times for orders outside Finland may vary up to daily. You can track your order using the tracking link.
Check that the delivered items match your order as soon as you receive the parcel.
Uncollected parcels
- For uncollected parcels (within Finland), we have to charge a handling fee of 15€, which will be deducted from the amount to be returned to the customer.
- For uncollected parcels (outside Finland), we have to charge double the original shipping cost from the amount to be returned to the customer, to cover both the outgoing and return shipping fees.
Customs duties
Please note: Customs duties are always the responsibility of the customer. Delivery and return charges for unclaimed packages will be deducted from the amount to be returned to the customer.
Below you will find general guidance on customs duties and examples of practices. We recommend that you check with your national authorities for up-to-date information.
- For EU deliveries, there are no customs duties on delivery.
- Outside the EU and Norway: when you order from outside the EU and Norway, you pay the price excluding VAT. You are responsible for any additional duties and taxes after confirming your purchase and paying online.
- For UK deliveries, customs duties will be charged on orders over £135 (approximately €156). See more information
- Since 29.8.2025 all U.S. all shipments are subject to import duties and taxes
Payment methods
In our online shop, you can pay using several payment methods. Depending on the payment method, the payment service provider is Paytrail Oyj, Shopify Payments or PayPal. The recipient of the payment will be shown on the statement as the chosen payment service provider, which will forward the payment to the seller. In case of complaints related to payments, please contact the selected payment service provider in the first instance.

Gift voucher
You can also pay for your order with a Ruskovilla electronic gift card. Enter the code provided in the gift card at the online checkout. The value of the gift card can also be used in parts. Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Note! Gift vouchers cannot be used as a means of payment for the purchase of a new gift voucher.
Complaints
Quality is a matter of the heart for us. Most of our products are made in our own sewing factory in Artjärvi and pass through numerous pairs of hands during the manufacturing process. After each step, quality is checked, and the final check is made when the product is hand-packed in the sales package.
However, if you notice any defects in the product, please contact us as soon as possible. Please send an explanation and a picture of the defect, the order number and your contact details by e-mail to our customer service department ruskovilla@ruskovilla.fi. Our customer service is available in Finnish, Swedish and English. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
Clarification and dispute resolution
We always try to resolve any ambiguity as quickly as possible, so please contact our customer service directly. By law, we must also inform our customers that in the event of a dispute, you have the right to refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board. You can also start a dispute via the EU's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
