Product description
Easy-to-wear warm wool overalls for children
Wool overall is one of our classic products. It provides just the right amount of extra warmth from autumn to spring under shell layer or winter clothing. The one-piece is easy to put on thanks to the long zip from neck to crotch and keeps your child's back warm during play. Ribbed cuffs at wrists and ankles make it easier to dress outerwear on top of the overall.
The wool overall is made from a non-itchy and sturdy rib knit. Wool can absorb up to 30% moisture without feeling wet and it keeps you warm even when damp – very useful when wet weather and slush set in and puddles are tempting!
Please note, that the sand colour of the overalls is slightly darker than our other sand-coloured products.
Made from 100% certified organic merino wool. Pure wool is breathable and keeps you warm even when damp. It neutralises odours and doesn’t require frequent washing. Pure wool is also a fire-safe material.
Handmade in Artjärvi, Finland. No need to wash before use.

Size guide
Knitted fabrics made from natural fibres are elastic, and due to the properties of the material, product sizes may vary slightly. For this reason, we do not provide measurements of finished products, but size selection is based on your own body measurements.
Dimensions in the table are given in centimetres (cm).

This is how you measure:
- Measure over bare skin or thin underwear.
- The easiest way to measure is with a tape measure. Make sure the tape measure is straight.
- If the measurements fall between the two measurements on the measurement chart, we recommend taking a smaller size as the products are strethcy.
- Remember to check the measurements on the correct size chart, especially for unisex products.
Tips for choosing your size:
- The measurements on the size chart are body measurements, which you can compare to find the right size.
- Our products are made to Finnish measurements, which means that they are generally a little looser than e.g. European sizes. If you are deciding between two sizes, a smaller size is probably sufficient if you prefer a more fitted look.
- Silk wool is more elastic than wool or silk, so keep this in mind, especially when selecting adult silk wool garments.
-
The knit of our wool products will slightly shrink when first washed. This is taken into account in the sizing, which is slightly loose before the first wash.

As we open the door and step inside the lower floor of the Old Dairy, the room is filled with a soft steady whir, paced by a faster buzz, click and then another buzz. Some twenty seamstresses are working. This is where the heart of Ruskovilla is.
