Classic long-sleeved merino wool shirt
The warm and breathable merino wool shirt has been our customer's favourite for years. Classic design with unisex sizing, this shirt features long sleeves and ribbed cuffs. The thick and opaque interlock knit is smooth on both sides, making the shirt suitable for wearing on its own or as a base layer under another jumper, pullover or jacket.
Sizes S–XXL are available also as an extended model: sleeves and hem are 5 cm cm longer than the standard length.
Merino wool is the best choice against the skin in the cooler seasons, as wool breathes, absorbs moisture and warms up even when wet, so it feels comfortable in all weather conditions. Combine a perfect merino wool base layer set by pairing the shirt with women's or men's merino wool pants of your choice.
The material is certified, breathable 100% organic merino wool. Pure wool provides warmth even when damp. It neutralizes odors and doesn't need frequent washing. Pure wool is also a fire-safe material.
Handmade in Artjärvi, Finland. No need to wash before first use.
Women: due to unisex sizing, we recommend choosing one size smaller than your usual size.

This is how you measure:
- Measure over bare skin or thin underwear.
- The easiest way to measure is with a tape measure. Make sure the tape measure is straight. It is easier to measure if you have another person with you or if you measure in front of a mirror.
- If your measurements fall between the two measurements on the measurement chart, we recommend taking a smaller size as the products are strethcy.
- Remember to check the measurements on the correct size chart, especially for unisex products.
Tips for choosing your size:
- The measurements on the size chart are body measurements, which you can compare to find the right size.
- Our products are made to Finnish measurements, which means that they are generally a little looser than e.g. European sizes. If you are deciding between two sizes, a smaller size is probably sufficient if you prefer a more fitted look.
- For unisex products, we recommend that women choose one size smaller than their normal size. Also check the measurements on the size chart!
- Silk wool is more elastic than wool or silk, so keep this in mind, especially when selecting adult silk wool garments.
