Babies' silk wool body is smooth and warm
Our baby body is made of undyed, smooth and warm silk wool. The updated body design has a long lifespan: there are two rows of snaps in the crotch, allowing you to adjust the size as your baby grows. The body has a V-neckline for easy dressing, and flat seams. The neckline and leg openings are reinforced with binding. Fold-over cuffs for the hands in sizes 50 and 60 cm.
Silk wool underlayer adapts to the body temperature. It is ideal as a year-round underwear material, as well as for use as such in summer.
Made from 30% natural silk and 70% merino wool, certified organic silk wool combines the best of both materials: the smoothness of silk and the warmth of wool. The material is flexible and breathable, and provides the extra warmth needed when combined with other garments.
Handmade in Artjärvi, Finland. No need to wash before use.

This is how you measure:
- Measure over bare skin or thin underwear.
- The easiest way to measure is with a tape measure. Make sure the tape measure is straight.
- If the measurements fall between the two measurements on the measurement chart, we recommend taking a smaller size as the products are strethcy.
Tips for choosing your size:
- The measurements on the size chart are body measurements, which you can compare to find the right size.
- Our products are made to Finnish measurements, which means that they are generally a little looser than e.g. European sizes. If you are deciding between two sizes, a smaller size is probably sufficient if you prefer a more fitted look.
- Silk wool is more elastic than wool or silk, so keep this in mind, especially when selecting adult silk wool garments.
