Sheep have taken care of the product development for us. For thousands of years, they have lived in widely varying climates and weather conditions, and we can benefit from the same properties that keep them warm in the cold and comfortable in the heat. Step inside our factory in Artjärvi and you’ll hear the steady hum of sewing machines, broken by the occasional whirr and click. Around twenty skilled makers are at work here every day. This is the heart of Ruskovilla.

Nearly all our clothing and accessories are made in our own factory in Artjärvi, Finland. Here, skills built up over decades are passed from one pair of hands to the next: our products are cut, sewn, finished, inspected and packed under the same roof. Products made in Finland can be recognised by the Key Flag Symbol.
